Finished

This is one of the 5 quilts I was going to bind in Maine and since I didn’t make it to Maine, it’s time to get them bound … 2 are done and there are 3 left to bind now. Pieced by Suzanne and quilted and bound by me. Per Suzanne it’s a Bonnie Hunter pattern called Santa Fe Star and I found it online in Bonnie’s String Fling book.

I also made progress on the pink and brown Split 9 patch … I’ve got more cutting to do but couldn’t resist making a few blocks. I think I’m going to like it!

  1. This is a huge step. Sitting still enough to bind effectively would test my back but you bound quickly and efficiently. Congrats on another great step away from the worst sciatica problems.

  2. very nice quilt…i really like bonnie’s patterns but avoid most due to the crazy amount of seams…

  3. Wow! That Santa Fe Star quilt is gorgeous! Your friend chose such wonderful colors for this one. And your reference to binding reminds me that I have a binding to attach to a big quilt myself.
