Trying out different binding options … can you guess which one I chose?
This was a win … just a sliver left after cutting a binding for a 2nd quilt!
I’d almost emptied this bin trimming up the leftover backing pieces but since I keep trimming quilts, I’m not making much progress. These pieces get trimmed and go in the strips and strings bins. I SO want to be doing some piecing but I’m staying on track with the quilting and binding … I’ll allow myself time to play this weekend and then on Monday I’ll be sewing along with Kathy and her group in WI and working on a quilt for a veteran.
I guessed correctly. to me seeing them all together blue was the choice although it looked darker in the first picture. no matter what it was a highlight to a beautiful quilt that kind of looked better withh a highlight.
