Sunday

Keith decided I needed to be outside for a bit yesterday and took chairs up to the bluff for us to sit in the sun. I love sitting by the water!

Later in the afternoon, we went to a local pub and watched some football. (Vikings lost 😞)

And on our way back to the cottage, we were treated to a lovely sunset.

In between our activities, I got in some knitting and crochet and should finish up another hat today. I’ve enjoyed our time here but I am starting to itch to get back in my sewing room.

I drafted out Mom’s Courthouse Steps – after all these years who knows where the directions I wrote for her are and so I wrote up some brief quilt notes and posted them on the website. I don’t know when I’ll get around to making it but the quilt notes will be waiting for me when I do!

  1. My husband is a 49er fan. So he was happy. It was an awfully one sided game; so I did crafts instead. I like this pattern, Mary. And it’s so open to doing different color schemes.

  2. Sounds like it was a relaxing, pleasant sort of day, Mary. Thank you for the instructions for the quilt.

  3. Chris and I went to a bar Sunday to watch any game (because our vacation house didn’t have internet. We were shocked to get the Eagles game with a bar full of Eagles fans. They put the Vikings game on 1 TV. My Mom is also a Vikings fan. I”m sorry for both of you.
