I didn’t get into the sewing room until late but I did manage to get the Jungle Strippie trimmed and the binding on and hand stitched down. It feels good to have a finish!
It’s nice to have a quiet weekend without the contractor working on the bathrooms and even nicer to be getting close to them being finished. If all goes well the countertops will be installed, the finishing touches done, and a deep cleaning of the entire upstairs by the end of the day on Wednesday! And we’ll promptly leave early Thursday to head to Virginia to celebrate Mom’s birthday.
Ah, I had wondered how the bathroom remodel was going – I got a laugh when your husband decided that it was fine to use the same tile/colors in both of them. We had just one bath redone maybe 6 or 8 summers ago – it took 9 weeks of the contractor coming about half the time and was a real hassle with 2 dogs wanting to get friendly with the workers, in one case, and drive them away in the other. I’m glad your project is almost done and hope we will get a glimpse at some point of the finished product.

We are fixing our bathroom floor, there is a leak. Never enjoy fixing a problem. Hope you show us pictures of your bathrooms. Your strippy is very pretty.
