Bolts win

I was out and about most of the day but this evening I knit while we watched the Lightning win … after a 4 game losing streak we were glad to see them bounce back.

After the game I continued knitting for a while … listening to one of the Ann Cleeves Shetland books. We watched the series and while the books have some overlap they’re also different and I’ve enjoyed them.

Funny, both Keith and I have Scottish roots according to our DNA … 33% for me and 6% for him and it might be fun to visit one day. It was also funny to sit there knitting while I listened to them talk about their famous Shetland knitting. Mine will never be famous but it does provide warmth for those in need.

Then I decided to head into the sewing room for a bit … I wouldn’t be doing this for just anyone at 11:30pm but someone wants Christmas Stockings for Gus. Apparently he was named after the Georgia Southern Eagle.

EDIT: And just like that – one is done. The other one doesn’t need to be finished before Christmas Eve but I might just get it done tomorrow night.
