The bears are usually picked up on the cameras in the back … this one was out front last night! I’ll make sure to turn all the lights on and make plenty of noise when I take Finn out this week!!!
And here’s a funny picture taken by a friend of Keith’s. This bear was just standing straight up in the road. Apparently from what I’m reading the bears are pretty active right now.
No wonder people think they see Bigfoot.
So much activity for you right now- moving, shopping, flying, and bears, oh my! I’m sure I would freak out if I saw a bear, especially one standing straight up. They “almost” look like a human in a bear suit. We have seen bears along the highway in northern WI, and from a distance we thought they were black garbage bags 🙂

They are black garbage bags! Why else are they hanging around where people live? Our garbage trucks have a picture of a black bear eating trash with the slashed circle on top with the statement “Please don’t feed the bears!” On the side of the truck.

A bit too close for my comfort. I’m sure we would all be surprised at the nighttime activity around our homes.
I saw a story on the news about a California town that has people moving away because of bear encounters.
It must have heard something down over the edge of the hill and stood up to see what it was about. And look at that fuzzy belly!
I can’t believe you are so calm about living so close to where bears will come and pay you a visit!
