The Happy Blocks are done. In my mind I thought that I would piece a set of blocks I’d prepped before surgery and then assemble the top but for now I’m going to stick to just piecing blocks and assembly will wait. It will just be easier for now.
Since I’ve finished all my binding, I started another hat this afternoon.
Cute hat, Mary! I’m a novice at acrylic yarn…how do you like the Brava? I used to buy a lot of yarn from KnitPicks but have been branching out to try some other companies, too, and haven’t tried their Brava. Looks like there are some pretty colors in that line. Any other good acrylic worsted weight recommendations? I’ve been using Paintbox Simply DK for some hats, but it really isn’t heavy enough. I need to check and see if they make a worsted weight, too…nice colors!
Cute hat and cute blocks. My granddaughter Olivia is learning to knit hats using a round loom, and chunky yarn. She showed me yesterday the one she was working on while sitting by the lemonade stand they had going on during the neighborhood garage sale.
