The last binding has been stitched down. This is one of my “Quicker” Strippies … perfect for those very large prints. I have some brief cutting directions for this version at this link.

I started stitching the binding down yesterday – the local guild here at Big Canoe was having a community quilt sewing day and I decided I’d drop in for a couple hours to participate and to get out of the house.

This is the group that has been donating quilts locally for me since 2020. They’re always very appreciative and last year they made me an honorary member of the guild.
I did take 3 finished quilts to donate but now it will be a while before I have any more finishes … I won’t be cranking up the longarm in the near future but I’ll have tops waiting for finishing when I do.
You are looking beautiful! I’m glad you were able to get out and socialize with other quilters.
I am so happy you got out and that you finished a quilt.
You’re looking great. I’m guessing the outing was good for the healing process, but probably also tired you out. Love that cute short haircut.
Love your hair, Mary!
Wonderful! 🙂 I hope you’ll join them from time to time. Sometimes it’s nice to have an in person connection with quilters.
Happy to hear you’re doing well.
Happy to see your smiling face and enjoying an escape from cabin fever!
