Unfortunately Mo wasn’t able to join us here in VA to celebrate with her birthday buddy but we did FaceTime with her so they got to chat and wish each other Happy Birthday.
Chris sent me a photo of Mo with her birthday balloons – a tradition they have with both girls.

It looks like we’re going to have to wait a week when we get back to celebrate with her and Becky whose birthday is tomorrow.
We did attend mass this morning with Mom and I lit candles and said prayers for my Dad, Lisa my sister-in-law, and Keith’s parents.

And then we went back to Kevin’s for lunch and some more time with the family. We got back to the apartment late afternoon and I watched the Bolts win while I did laundry and knit …

And after packing up to head home tomorrow, Keith and Finn went to bed and I knit some more while I watched the Vikings win!!!
For some reason I couldn’t watch the taped game on the TV but I was able to pull it up on my iPad.

The scarf is very close to being finished … it’s at that point that I could call it done but keep adding just a little more length since there’s plenty of yarn left in this second skein… maybe even enough for a hat.
Happy BD to those cute girls. They’re growing so fast.
Happy birthday to the birthday buddies. Both Mo and your mom have such great smiles. We got home from the swim meet (both granddaughters) just in time to watch the last 10 minutes of the Vikings game. But Dave had recorded it, so we watched the whole game after everyone headed home.
Happy Birthday to Mo!
I am sorry I didn’t wish Mo happy birthday but Happy Birthday Becky.
Prayers are always good to help you channel your thoughts.
It’s tough to put away just a little of anything if a project is open ended.
