Speaking of scraps and leftovers, Mom sent me home with 5 more little doll/bear quilts for donation.
I laid them out and started pulling dolls, bears, and even monkey’s to go with them. I’ve got several others so I’ll be getting another group of these ready for donation.

Making these little quilts is one of my favorite ways to use up leftovers! Mom likes to use leftover novelty prints and add borders … I try to use up the leftover pieces after making a top. However you do it, don’t you know that the dolls and stuffed animals will be cuddled, loved, and wrapped up in their little quilts by the children that receive them.

So very, very kind! 🤩🫶🏻
Sweet!!!!!
It just goes to show that even the little bits of fabric are useful – just like our “little bits” of gifts and talents are useful for something too!
Those a just so cute! I have a couple of doll quilts done, and paired up with stuffed animals from sewing this fall. But your post reminds me that I had a couple of doll quilt tops remaining to be quilted and bound. I donated a dozen last year to a local agency. It’s time for me to do more.
Oh so cute! You and your Mom make a good team.
Every little child that gets something to love and the means to practice sharing love is blessed by you and your mom. Such a great gift.
I love these. They are so cute and someone will love the monkey.
Those are so adorable.
So nice of you two to do this for children.
You both are such a blessing!
Such creative ideas to use up leftovers Mary

Sweet bundles of love for little ones!
This is a wonderful idea for little people. Thank you for sharing!
