Mom and I had another nice visit this afternoon. We talked about different projects we’re working on and I couldn’t wait to sew some when I got home.
Just a simple grid quilted on this one but it’s quilted, and the binding is on. I’ll have to borrow a needle and some binding clips from Mom because I forgot to pack my binding bin!

Next up I need to pin baste another little one and I’m going to “big stitch” hand quilt it.
Such a great quilt and an enthusiastic mid day project. Your mood is better but your body still has limits. Please take care of yourself.
Glad to hear that you are having a good visit, Mary, and not surprised that your productivity is still a priority while in VA. Go, you!
Hi Mary, I love all your stories and pictures on your blog. A month or two ago, you showed a picture of a bear that you sewed with fleece fabric, it was small and you wrapped it in one of your small patchwork blankets for a giveaway gift. Would you please share where you found that bear pattern? It looks simple to make, as it is just two bear shapes cut out and sewn together. Keep sewing, knitting and quilting. I love everything you make. I don’t know how you get it all done. I hope
you are healing and I pray you get stronger everyday. You have made the world a better place. Thank you, pAtti dmytras.
Glad you are having a good visit! Say hi from me.
