I set up the new machine today and of course, wanted to sew something on it. The little squares top was sitting on the table so I pieced a back, pin basted it and quilted a simple grid.
I’m thrilled that the new machine fits in Jane’s cabinet. I wasn’t sure that they were the exact same size but apparently they are. It also sews nicely as expected.
This little one has been trimmed and the binding is on and ready to hand stitch. I think it’s going to be matched up with a cute gray or white bear when it’s done.

I put the leftover charm squares back in their bin … this fabric must have gone on sale at some point… I can’t believe I have so much of it. I really need to come up with a plan and use it.

I remember using them to make one quilt a while back … I thought this one must have been from charm squares too but there are some fat quarters that have been cut into also so maybe both were used.

There are no appointments tomorrow or Friday so I expect to get one loaded on the longarm and quilted one of those days!
I love looking at all the quilts you have made. Also love looking at your stash! I don’t feel so bad about mine then.
You must have liked that fabric a lot!
Your new machine is very cute. I bet it will get lots of use! Cynthia
What a pretty quilt with a soft color palette. and that machine looks REALLY NICE with a large harp space too. We need good tools to do good works.
What a pretty fabric line. It will makes some lovely quilts no matter what pattern you choose.
You do have a lot of that fabric! LOL! Glad you love the new machine.
