I got the rest of the Happy Blocks made today before we headed over to pick up Mom and Maureen to go visit Debbie for dinner. Don is a wonderful cook and it was yummy!!!

It was nice spending the evening with the family … and I’m sure Mom enjoyed having 4 of her 6 kiddies there with her.

I didn’t do a thing but eat and drink but Keith drove us there … and helped clean the kitchen after dinner! He’s a handy guy to have around 🙂

With any luck, I’ll get that small Happy Block top assembled tomorrow before I go pick Mom up for dinner with us. Unlike Don’s dinner tonight, mine will be fairly simple … a Waldorf Chicken salad on croissants … simple but yummy!
The food and family time – just wonderful no matter what is served.
Since my family is basically gone, I am the one that becomes the lady’s home companion. I am the prep chef and chief cook and bottle washer while he spends precious time with loved ones. It is an ideal situation because I don’t remember the good old days and if I am washing dishes someone else has a chance to join in the fun. Keep up the good work Keith.
What a gift to spend time with your siblings and mom and to have the wonderful, support of Keith!
I always enjoy you sharing family pictures, Mary! – Beth in AL
