It’s kind of hard to see but this group top is quilted … with leaves. It was pieced by Susan at the Maine sew-in.
Pantograph is blowing leaves.

That’s 4 quilted in about a week and a half since we’ve been home from Maine. It’s nice to be making some progress. Haven’t done any piecing but I’ll get to that.
Nice! Is the leafy block an 8″x10″?
Lovely fall colors.
Thanks for quilting my top. I think you have two of the flannel tops. I have three here that are in the process of being quilted. There are two more kits cut for the Maine sew-in that were not made while I was there. Hopefully those will be sewn within the month. It would be nice to have all of the flannel quilts mailed to Bev by the end of the year. These seven quilt kits have about used the last of the 100 yards of flannel my friend donated several years ago. I appreciated her donation but flannel takes a lot so space to store.
What size are the blocks in this quilt?
Thanks for the information, Mary!
Her leaf blocks finish at
6 x 9
The light ones finish at
3 x 4.5
Beautiful quilt! You chose the perfect pantograph for it. You accomplish so much, I don ‘t know how you do it. . When you add in doctor appointments in addition to your sewing and knitting.
I’ve been making memory quilts from my late husband’s clothing for my kids and grandkids. So far I have 4 quilts done and have made some ragtime quilts for others. You amaze me!
Perfect design for that quilt! You’ve been on a roll since you have been home!
The blowing leaves design is perfect. Great job.
