We spent the afternoon with my birthday boy and birthday girl – Chris and Rae had birthdays this past week. They both had to prove they could ride Mo’s bike!
There was lunch – good!
Watching the Vikings/Eagles game – not good! Someone (and her mother) had fun taunting me about the score!
And we went to watch Rae play flag football – she lost the game but we enjoyed watching.

What is it about “kids'” toys that reduces us all to kids ourselves?!? One of my fondest memories is of a bunch of us adults one Christmas trying to beat a game that the youngest kid in the family got as a gift. There’s an element of pure joy in becoming a child again.
Yay for the Eagles fans! My Mom, Vikings fan, watch with us. She was pretty quiet.
A fun bit of family time! Those girls are such cuties! Dave recorded the Vikings game for me because I was at the quilt show all weekend. After seeing the end result I haven’t watched the recording.
