How long have I been working on these blocks in between other projects and traveling?? Three months?? The Rainbow HeartStrings blocks are finally done. Today, I finished up by piecing some orange and turquoise ones.
I’m going to blame my friend Stephanie from HeartStrings’ because I’m going to put these away for a while before I assemble them. She always seems to have lots of projects going and while she has lots of UFOs, she finishes a lot of quilts. Usually, I make myself finish one top before moving on. With any luck, at least one of these tops will at least be assembled before the end of the year.
I wrote myself a little note so when I pull the bin out I’ll know what the plan was.

Haha, I will happily take the blame for that. Sometimes a set of blocks ready to stitch together is just what you need, when you want to sew but not to think too much.
