Hat #30

Another finish and a win for my Vikings!! It’s even better because they beat the Commanders … Keith and Chris’ team.

I’m not quite as happy as I look in the photo because we were supposed to be in MN at the game. We’d planned the trip a while back and Chris and Rae were supposed to join us. We had to cancel because of my treatment but lucky for Becky and Mo, they got to go with Chris and Rae. Mo now says the Vikings are her 2nd favorite team … but the Eagles still come first.

It’s nice to have another Viking fan in the family!

And since this post is about the hat I finished for donation – here it is. Pattern is Cobblestones and it’s found free on Ravelry at this link.

  1. You are looking wonderful, especially in that Viking purple. Glad you have more Viking fans to celebrate with. Keep on getting better!

  2. Mary, Your positive attitude is so contagious!
Thank you. You have no idea how you brighten others dark days. Wishing you really good health so very soon!!!

  3. Love the hat! Sorry you didn’t get to go to the game but I bet the girls sure had fun. And your team won.

  4. We live in the Philadelphia suburbs so most of our family are Eagles fans but our son-in-law and three grandsons are all Vikings fans. I made a Vikings quilt for the oldest grandson when he turned thirteen. I am sure your family had a great time at the game.

  5. Love your hats! You’ve introduced me to new patterns for the charity hats I make. What is your favorite yarn for these hats? (You have a great smile and such a positive attitude that I imagine gets tested.) Thank you for such a positive blog. I so enjoy reading it every day. kk

  6. Nice to have a win! Yesterday was our coldest day of the Minnesota winter season so far. Good to have a climate controlled stadium.

  7. Sorry you had to miss the Vikings game. It was a fun game and we haven’t had many of those this year. I love that you are still a super fan from afar. I love your blog and start each day reading it. I marvel at the amount of contributions you make. Your quilts and hats are beautiful. I send love and the wish for a healthier new year.
