Family time

We met Chris for dinner tonight. Love spending time with him and his girls!

Two bald heads!

My sweet girls!

I didn’t get any “work” done today but yesterday I finished the green blanket. Still have to weave the ends in. One of those jobs I don’t like doing … I also still have the ends to weave in on the red one too!!

Unfortunately the BOLTS lost last night when I finished this crocheting this one but it was cozy by the fire!

I also finished the St Louis 16 Patch blocks yesterday. Will keep them up on the design wall a few days and probably move a few around before sewing them together. Another of my least favorite jobs!

  1. I don’t like weaving the ends in either. Your 16 patch quilt is great, I’ve never made one yet. I like the all blue fabrics. I saw a darker blues in a 5 slice pattern that was gorgeous today. Guess you gave me a pattern I need to make too.

  2. Have you taken a photo using the grayscale setting? I have been surprised how helpful that can be, as it shows slight differences.

  3. Wonderful photos to record this night’s dinner together. Love the love! (I’m grateful for when we can spend time w/ours.)

  4. Such a great picture of you and Chris. No family resemblance at all. Sarcasm anyone? The girls are growing up so quickly. Seems like time is moving so quickly around you but just barely moving for you. Oh wait, that is my life but once grandchildren happen they seem to be on the outside of the carousel moving fast and I’m in the middle walking in place.

  5. Every little bit of family time is precious isn’t it? Love the 2 bald heads – but with big smiles.

  6. Love the Afghan! Simply beautiful!!! And the 16 patch is truly love that
But I’m with you, I have 3 quilts that have had their time on the design wall. I’ve taken pictures and tried that. You are a finisher. I will keep watching to change my notorious ways. Beautiful work!!
