No sewing

My day did not go as planned … first I had a dentist appointment for a tooth I broke before last weekend’s icy weather. It’s going to need a crown eventually but he filed it down and said it should be able to wait for 6 months post my last chemo on Feb 10 which is what they like to wait before doing major dental work.

Then, with the weather reports for this coming weekend calling for snow, we decided we needed to hit the road early before we got stuck on the mountain again and unable to head to Tampa as planned so I ran around getting things packed and ready to leave at 6am tomorrow.

I did finish in time to watch the Lightning win tonight and to start another blanket – this one is the Lemon Peel stitch.

I won’t get down tonight as planned to weave ends in one of the other two blankets finished – they’ll have to wait until we get back.

  1. So sorry about your tooth….but glad you’ll be able to wait for the crown. Have a good trip and hope y’all don’t hit any of the bad weather.

  2. How appropriate to be doing the Lemon Peel stitch with bright yellow yarn while heading to Florida! Be safe!

  3. Oh Mary! When I saw this blanket, my heart jumped because this is my favorite color of all to cheer me up. I love all colors, except gray, but this one, wow. I hope you have a safe trip to Tampa. Enjoy your time there.

  4. So sorry about your dental issues. I hope your last chemo goes smoothly, and then you can relax to wait for that crown.
