Assembled

Well this one took a while but now the top is done. It will be finished and donated in Maine in memory of Bev, my friend and fellow HeartStrings member.

You can find brief instructions on the website for my rectangle quilts at this link. I don’t usually use borders on these but I had some yardage from the same fabric line as the Jelly Roll strips I used. I also added in a few strips from stash for some variety.

Now after being up on that ankle for a couple hours, I’m going to sit and knit! I did get my first PT appointment scheduled for next week.

  1. This is a striking quilt and I bet a teenage boy will want it. Take care of yourself Mary, we are all sending good wishes to you.

  2. Very pretty! I really like how you layed this out with the lighter diagonals showing up. I have a background and jelly roll set aside with this pattern – in a project box for over a year now. It needs to go back onto my To Do list.
