I took 6 crochet blankets and 14 little quilts with critters to SafePath today but first I met with Chris for lunch and a coffee. Love time with my boy!

Then I spent some time downstairs … first using up the leftover bits from the border on the RWB Rectangle quilt – just a quick strippie Little Quilt version. I love looking for states I’ve lived in and visited with this fabric and I think it will be fun for a kid to find different states too.

And then I started cutting and piecing blocks for my RWB Sharon inspired HeartStrings quilt. This is one of the ones I plan to finish and take to Maine for donation this fall in memory of Bev.

Now I’m going to sit and get another hat started.
Happy donation day!! Lunch with your son is a big bonus!!
Wow! You got a lot done today – and enjoyed some family time! That sounds like a win-win all around!
