I’m still organizing things and packing for Maine but I did get a few hours downstairs.

First, I finished cutting the kits I’m taking to Mom. Since we won’t have time to sew together until the beginning of December… I wanted to make sure she had some projects to work on if she wanted to. Luckily, we will have two very brief visits before December – we’re stopping at the VA apartment to and from Maine.

Since I was playing in my Novelty Scraps cutting the kits for Mom, I decided I’d go ahead and meet our October challenge although I didn’t ONLY use scraps but those 4 center squares were from leftovers.

I won’t sew a single stitch for about 5 weeks but I packed a big bin of yarn to keep me busy. When I get back in November I’ll have a lot to get done before the end of the year.

Speaking of that … Stephanie mentioned a challenge that she does – a task a day for the last 100 days of the year. I read about it here at this link. I don’t make a list of 100 things to do but I’ve done the challenge once before and it does motivate me to get something done each day.
