This one has been waiting for the ends to be woven in … which finally got done today.
I use a pattern that came with a kit I bought years ago but but you can find free instructions for a similar blanket at this link. The Linen Stitch is my favorite stitch to use with the Mandala Ombré yarn

I added a few more today.
But all the leftover yarn bits and pieces say NO I’m not making progress. I’m going to have to come up with a plan for these smaller leftovers … not sure what pattern will work best with multiple colors.
Of course it probably doesn’t help that I create more leftovers with every project I finish!
And there should be leftovers created next month. I am not taking a sewing machine to Maine with me but there will be plenty of yarn for blankets and hats.
I have to laugh. Yarn or fabric, it’s always the same! I like to paper piece, so I always think I have to save every tiny scrap to use in a pp project. So many leftovers, so little time! 😂🤷😱
I make cat cage blankets for my Humane Society with my little leftovers.
Consider simply starting with one yarn, joining the next and the next and crocheting your preferred size afghan until they are gone? I’ve done that and it really is fun. I used a bit of every one for fringes on the sides where colors change for some added funkiness.
