Lobster Roll

I forgot to take a photo last night before I started eating but I’ve had my 2nd lobster roll … one in September while I was at the sew-in … and one last night.

We had dinner at DiMillo’s, a place Keith’s Dad took us years ago and we always have dinner there when we’re here in Maine and raise a glass to him!

The lobster roll was yummy but very expensive. I’ll have to curb my usual habit of eating as many as I can while I’m here… so sad 🙂

Today, I had knitting time in the morning and then library time! I love spending time in the library and today I did some genealogy research. It’s one of the things I focus on when I’m here but basically I just use Ancestry. Maybe I’ll make it over to the history center in Portland a time or two while I’m here and look up some local records. I did that years ago during one of our stays and found lots of information.

I’m already planning to go back Monday afternoon. It’s in walkable distance… just under 1.25 miles each way so that will help me meet another one of my goals this month which is to get out and WALK!

  1. Hi Mary – it sounds like you are having a nice trip! Do you have a lot of ancestors that lived in Maine? I have Libbey ancestors who came from there to settle in Iowa. Sherry Whalen
