After a dentist appointment to address some significant tooth and mouth issues related to my cancer treatments I came home and got to work.
First … sorting the yarn that arrived while I was out of town into hat and blanket groups.

Yep, I said I was going to use what I had like Mo told me to but I just can’t seem to resist these huge sales but now I have to … I bought enough yarn for 8 blankets and 8 hats … I need to get to work!! That doesn’t count all the other purchases still sitting on the bed waiting to be put away.
Second up … I’m doing a quilting Marathon … Nov, Dec, and Jan … focusing on catching up. I haven’t set a specific number of tops to get quilted but I intend to make some good progress
One group top got loaded on the longarm and one of Ann’s Little Quilts was layered and is ready to pin baste. That still might happen this afternoon after I rest a bit.

Then I got 5 Little Quilts and critters wrapped up and ready to take to the guild meeting tomorrow for donation. It’s hard to tell but that one on the end is a Dino … he’s big and wrapped a little different than the others usually are.

Then with Keith’s help, I set up Mo’s sewing space! I need an extra machine to piece some batting while I work on quilting little quilts, binding, and piecing tumblers together for this month’s challenge. Hopefully she’ll get here for a visit this month while it’s set up.

Now I’m going to work on today’s challenge … the fundraiser is “knit every day” but it includes crocheting … so I will spend time each day doing one or the other … or both 🙂
I want to thank those of you who donated to the fundraiser yesterday. It means the world to me that you are supporting my effort to raise money for the American Cancer society while I knit/crochet these projects for donation.

Whirl wind of work. I’m glad you remember to rest between “jobs”.
