It’s been a real struggle but things are looking up. I was admitted to the hospital for assessment and pain management yesterday. The causes of the back/sciatica pain have been diagnosed and treatment has begun. With any luck they’ll let me go home today. Hopefully, continued treatment will get me back to normal and my quilting soon!
Thank you all for your prayers and messages of concern. They have been a great comfort to me.
So glad you are better. Prayers for you.
God bless you in this struggle. Pain is quite a challenge.
So glad to hear things are looking up! Prayers that progress continues!
Mary you are on my prayer list
I will continue to pray for you and for you to have a full recovery. I am sure you are glad to be home with Keith and your beloved dog.
Sending healing thoughts and prayers.
Continuing to pray for your healing! Thanks for the update, so great to know that your problem has been diagnosed and treatment has started. Be sure and do whatever exercises and physical therapy they tell you to do, it will be a very important part of your recovery. I know you will be glad to get back home soon.
Awesome that progress is being made and a plan of care is started. Slow and steady with your recovery. Many good thoughts coming to you.
Praying that you will continue to improve.
Glad they could figure it out and help!! Hugs!!!
Great news! Hopefully you will be back at the sewing machine before you know it. Easy does it!
Best wishes for getting to go home! I’m so sorry this happened to you. Listen to the doctor. 😁
Thanks for the update. Praying for continued progress in healing and getting rid of or at least controlling the pain. Praying for grace and strength to meet each day… one at a time.
Thanks for the update. Being admitted to the hospital might open the door to a quicker solution for you. Keeping you in my prayers.
I am glad you are getting appropriate treatment for your back issues. I have back issues and know how quickly these problems can incapacitate you. Travel can exacerbate it and poor medical treatment or dismissal of the severity can be frustrating. No one wants to be in the hospital but I know you will do what is needed to get back to what you love. We appreciate the updates.
I’m glad the problem has been diagnosed and that you can get relief from the pain.
So sorry to hear that a hospital stay was needed. I hope you feel better soon!

Sorry it took a hospital stay, but happy you are getting answers and treatment. One day at a time. That’s how you eat that elephant. More cyber hugs and love heading your way.

So very happy to hear your good news Mary.
Hopefully they find the best shot location on the first try. Listen to the after shot advice and please take care of yourself. Wishes for a speedy recovery to some reasonable level of movement.
So glad they know what to do now. Rest and do what they tell you to do!
Happy to hear that a plan is in place to get you some relief. Keep your spirits up! Surely better days are coming. Sending Blessings, Judy

Get well soon
Hi Mary,
Missed seeing your posts for a couple of days due to family issues. How miserable for you to have to have been stricken down with back pain and to miss your trip to Maine. Glad to hear that the problem has been diagnosed and you are on the mend. There is nothing worse than back pain. Get well soon.
Stay positive!
