I have some challenges with dairy but can’t resist some ice cream now and then … Mom came over to the apartment for dinner tonight and I fixed one of her favorites … Tomato Basil Pasta. We passed the ice cream place when we took her home so of course we had to stop! We had a lovely time.
I’ve got 3 little quilts quilted and the bindings on so I’ll start hand stitching them down tomorrow during my visit with Mom.
Ah yes, milk products! Isn’t it a shame ice cream is made from milk? But it’s so delicious! I really limit milk and ice cream even though I dearly love it. Glad you had a good visit with your mom.

I use lactaid sparingly. It relieves the worst of the symptoms but sparingly is the key.
