Finished

I finished 3 more little quilts today … all of them were tops donated during our HeartStrings project in Feb/March that I quilted and bound.

First up were two sent in by Teresa

I thought this one was sent in by Bonnie but I couldn’t find it in the photos so I might be wrong.

We had dinner with my brother Kevin and his wife Hilary and she mentioned that it was free slurpee day at 7-11 …. Because it is July 11th … who knew?! One of the things I love about being up here in VA is that there’s a 7-11 on every corner!! I miss that living in GA.

And yes, we did stop by 7-11 on the way home from dinner so I could get me a free slurpee!!

Then when we got home we turned on the Tour … AND Tadej won the stage!! I pulled out my blanket to work on while we watched. I’m making nice progress on it.

  1. Hmm, I’ve never had a Slurpee in my life. I remember living in VA and all the 7-11’s. I sure think those animals are cute with the quilts.

  2. Such cute little quilts. I’ve actually never had a Slurpee, in spite of there being a 7 Eleven close by in a few different places I’ve lived. Our local 7 Eleven closed a couple years ago, and is now something else.

  3. Like Hedy and Nancy, I’ve also never had a slurpee! But I’ve never been a soda drinker either. Guess I was saving up for adulthood and scotch! LOL! Love the cute little quilts.
