This was the one “yarn” project started in 2025 that I didn’t finish … there are a few much older UFOs that probably won’t ever get finished but I’m doing a better job in the last few years finishing up my “yarn” projects.
Pattern is Shell Stitch Blanket found free on Ravelry at this link. I always make mine lap size versus baby size and she does give a stitch multiple so you can easily upsize it.
Such a pretty color
That’s what they call saturated color, I love this bright red. My first crochet blanket was made with the shell stitch. It had 3 colors, white and 2 shades of blue. I then made my mom one in lilacs. They always look great.

That is such a beautiful blanket. I have several shell stitch ones that my aunt made for me. All in multicolor but two, one in blues and one in Steeler colors. My cats love to sit on one. They have to arrange it just right and then to sleep. I’m glad you feel well enough to work on all your projects and critter shop.
